Shane Delaney vs Brandon Flanagon

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Dun Laoghaire Finn, Dun Laoghaire,  taking place on 28/10/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shane Delaney (30 - 18(11) - 3) who hails from Tallaght, Ireland and Brandon Flanagon(6 - 9(3) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Delaney and Flanagon weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon McPeters, and the three ringside judges are Shamus Quirke, Michael Dillon and Conor Whalen.  

Round 1: 

Flanagon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Delaney lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Flanagon throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Delaney quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Delaney closes the distance and forces Flanagon to retreat into the corner.  Delaney hits home with a left uppercut.  
Delaney advances into close range.  Delaney pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Delaney tries to step out of his opponents range.  Delaney feints a jab, tricking Flanagon into throwing a cross counter.  Delaney springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Delaney advances into close range.  Delaney leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Flanagon is whaling away with hooks, but Delaney keeps his defence tight.
