Manuel Canizares vs Tajo Simon

Boxing Daily Report from the Darbenyan Promotions promoted show at Jose Ruano Gym, Acapulco,  taking place on 28/10/2037:

Clearly Darbenyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guerrero Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manuel Canizares (9 - 18 - 4) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Tajo Simon(4 - 12 - 4) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Canizares and Simon weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Verduzco, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Sancho, Cortez Armijo and Fidel Molina.  

Round 1: 

Canizares tries to land a left hook, but Simon slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
