Kendis Quaye vs Billy Sharper

Boxing Daily Report from the Cowboys promoted show at Beamers Nightclub, Dallas,  taking place on 30/10/2037:

Clearly Cowboys have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kendis Quaye (16(12) - 0) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Billy Sharper(3 - 16 - 1) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Quaye and Sharper weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Clogston, and the three ringside judges are Leighton Fiddes, John Lewison and Mark Larmore.  

Round 1: 

Quaye is on target with a left hook to Sharper's body.  Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sharper's kidney. Quaye pushes his forearm into Sharper's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Quaye about fouling.  
Quaye lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Quaye advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sharper feints a right, and then hits home with a left hook.  
Sharper steps away from his opponent.  Quaye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Quaye throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Quaye lands with a ramrod jab.  
Sharper tries to keep the action at long range.  Quaye lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sharper throws a left hook, but Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quaye lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Quaye holds on to his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quaye lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  Quaye is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Quaye tries to land a right hook, but Sharper parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Quaye's body.  
Quaye advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sharper switches the action to the outside.  Quaye sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Quaye is on target with a solid cross.  Quaye attempts to land an overhand right, but Sharper sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Quaye lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Quaye advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Quaye lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Sharper throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Quaye is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sharper's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Sharper's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Sharper's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Quaye forces Sharper to retreat into the blue corner.  Quaye lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Quaye lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Quaye lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Quaye walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Quaye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a right hook into Sharper's body.

Quaye thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Sharper away.  Quaye whips in a mean right hook to his opponents ribs.  SHARPER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Sharper now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Quaye gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
