Ricky Osondu vs Juwon Chukwunyelu

Boxing Daily Report from the Frimpong Promotions promoted show at Buguma Ecoma, Buguma,  taking place on 29/10/2037:

Clearly Frimpong Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Osondu (10 - 22 - 5) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Juwon Chukwunyelu(3 - 4 - 4) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Both Osondu and Chukwunyelu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brown Bassey, and the three ringside judges are Imran Nishtar, Bature Isangedighe and Nathaniel Ozolua.  

Round 1: 

Chukwunyelu lands a left hook.  
Chukwunyelu gets on the inside.  Chukwunyelu sidesteps to the right of his opponent andChukwunyelu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Osondu has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Osondu steps away from his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Chukwunyelu time to recover.  
Chukwunyelu connects with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Osondu's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Osondu's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Chukwunyelu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
