Darragh Rowan vs Rob McAfee

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Royal Albert Hall, London,  taking place on 20/11/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darragh Rowan (17(10) - 1) who hails from Bangor, UK and Rob McAfee(9 - 8(2) - 3) from Bournemouth, UK.  Both Rowan and McAfee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Khalili, and the three ringside judges are Hayden Maguire, Aaron McNabb and Noel McGowan.  

Round 1: 

Rowan lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rowan gets on the inside.  Rowan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rowan is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Rowan and breaks the clinch.  
Rowan steps inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Rowan ties up his opponent.  Rowan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Rowan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rowan steps inside.  Rowan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rowan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Rowan clinches his opponent.  Rowan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rowan hits home with a right hook.  
Rowan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rowan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rowan is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Rowan pivots to the left of his opponent.  McAfee throws a left hook, but Rowan ties up his opponent.  Rowan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Rowan pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The referee warns Rowan and breaks the clinch.  
McAfee steps to the outside.  Rowan lands a jab.  
Rowan is on target with a stinging cross.  
Rowan lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Rowan ties up his opponent.  Rowan pushes his forearm into McAfee's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rowan.  
McAfee steps away from his opponent.  Rowan lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Rowan lands a solid cross.  
Rowan finds the target with a jab.  
Rowan closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rowan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Rowan walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Rowan is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McAfee drives a left hook into Rowan's ribs.  
Rowan gets on the inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Rowan hits home with a solid left hook.  
Rowan digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
McAfee is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rowan lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Rowan steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rowan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Rowan.  That has caused a slight cut .

Rowan senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Rowan lands a right uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MCAFEE DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  McAfee now seems to have got his legs back.  
Rowan lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...McAfee's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McAfee dabs at his face checking for damage.  McAfee recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Rowan lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES MCAFEE!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  The ref asks McAfee to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think McAfee can continue!  The winner by TKO is Rowan!
