Joey Beath vs Kai Millwee

Boxing Daily Report from the Kabbendjian Promotions promoted show at Las Vegas Spencer, Las Vegas,  taking place on 04/11/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nevada Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey the Dream Beath (31(17) - 8(4)) who hails from Henderson, USA and Kai Millwee(9 - 10 - 2) from Henderson, USA.  Beath weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces, while Millwee weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Slight, and the three ringside judges are Ellis Slight, David Finnie and Vincent Ovens.  

Round 1: 

Beath steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Beath holds on to his opponent.  Beath is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Beath.  
Beath lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Beath lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Beath lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Beath lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Millwee is looking to keep his distance.  Beath lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Beath is on target with a sharp left hook to Millwee's body.  
Millwee switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Beath is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Millwee sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Millwee throws a right hook, but Beath holds on to his opponent.  Beath is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Beath manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Beath lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Millwee's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Millwee's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Millwee's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Beath lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Millwee almost instantly recovers. 
Millwee attempts to land a left hook, but Beath blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Beath closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Millwee's liver.  Beath ties up his opponent.  Beath leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Beath digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Beath lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Beath is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Beath lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Beath quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beath lands a solid right uppercut.  Beath clinches his opponent.  Beath leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Beath gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Beath drives a stinging right hook into Millwee's body.  
Beath lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Millwee.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  Millwee recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Millwee throws a left hook, but Beath ties up his opponent.  Beath is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Beath pushes his forearm into Millwee's face.  The referee warns Beath and breaks the clinch.  
Beath throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Beath clinches his opponent.  Beath leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Beath to stop holding.  
Beath crashes a big left hook to Millwee's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MILLWEE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Beath could be enough to force the stoppage!  Beath lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He continues the combination and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES MILLWEE!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Beath!
