Denton Herd vs Joe Marn

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 06/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Denton Herd (23(9) - 3(1)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Joe Marn(25(18) - 3(2)) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Herd weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces, while Marn weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Henry, and the three ringside judges are Paul Coupland, Ferrand Pradon and Jasper Kopa.  

Round 1: 

Marn gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Marn tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.
