Boxing Daily Report from the AI Yemen-Sana'a promoted show at Sana'a Haq, Sana'a,  taking place on 09/11/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Barakat (28(6) - 19(3) - 2) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Ibrahim Qayyum(13 - 5(4) - 3) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Barakat weighed in at 200 pounds, while Qayyum weighed in at 199 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Guler, and the three ringside judges are Amjad Kahla, Shayan Ibraheem and Obaid Khalef.  

Round 1: 

Barakat drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Qayyum.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Barakat sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Barakat is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Barakat pivots to the right of his opponent.  Qayyum hits home with a left hook.  Barakat ties up his opponent.  Barakat pushes his forearm into Qayyum's face.  The ref breaks Barakat's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Qayyum switches the action to the outside.  Barakat sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Barakat is on target with a right hook to Qayyum's body.  Barakat clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Barakat pushes his forearm into Qayyum's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Barakat.  
Barakat manouvers Qayyum into the corner.  Barakat lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Barakat advances into close range and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Barakat walks Qayyum down, trapping him on the ropes.  Barakat is on target with a left uppercut to Qayyum's liver.

It looks like Qayyum has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
