Charles Irungu vs Nuru Verjee

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Tengelei, Nairobi,  taking place on 12/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Charles Irungu (27(2) - 15(6) - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Nuru Verjee(22 - 18(1) - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Irungu and Verjee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Lone, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Lumumba, Joe Mwirichia and Amon Ngoche.
