Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Tamusuza, Lira,  taking place on 13/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Aporu (7 - 7 - 1) who hails from Lira, Uganda and Irfan Khalid(9 - 3) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Aporu and Khalid weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Pbitek, and the three ringside judges are Declan Mukooza, Tobias Nkore and Keshawn Drito.  

Round 1: 

Khalid closes the distance.  Aporu throws a right uppercut, but Khalid clinches his opponent.  Khalid leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Khalid's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Aporu attempts to land a left hook, but Khalid parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Aporu's body.
