Peabo Ofosu vs Ian Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Federation promoted show at Frankie's Hotel, Accra,  taking place on 18/11/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peabo Ofosu (32(19) - 13(9)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Ian Appiah(10 - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Ofosu and Appiah weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Felix Kasanbata, Brad Boakye and Ben Mayat.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Appiah.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Appiah advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Appiah steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Appiah pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Ofosu tries to step out of his opponents range.  Appiah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ofosu lands an overhand right.  Ofosu throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
