Brett Moncayo vs Pulle Waerdelve

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 09/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hitman Brett Moncayo (24(22) - 0) who hails from Reno, USA and Pulle Waerdelve(21(7) - 8(6) - 3) from Tilburg, Netherlands.  Moncayo weighed in at 153 pounds and 13 ounces, while Waerdelve weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie Bryce, and the three ringside judges are John Factor, Sam Powell and Gazi Zia.  

Round 1: 

Moncayo gets on the inside.  Waerdelve is on target with a right hook.  
Waerdelve tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Moncayo gets on the inside and DETONATES a mean left hook on his opponents face.  WAERDELVE IS HURT!  Waerdelve almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Moncayo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Moncayo is looking to close the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Waerdelve lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Moncayo hits home with a sharp cross.  
Moncayo advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Moncayo holds on to his opponent.  Moncayo pushes his forearm into Waerdelve's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Moncayo attempts to land a right hook, but Waerdelve blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Waerdelve lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Moncayo closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Moncayo lands with a ramrod jab.  
Moncayo hits home with a solid cross.  
Waerdelve manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Waerdelve hits home with a firm cross.  
Waerdelve drives a right hook into Moncayo's ribs.  Moncayo clinches his opponent.  Waerdelve uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Moncayo behind the head. Moncayo pushes his forearm into Waerdelve's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Waerdelve attempts to land a cross, but Moncayo slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Waerdelve throws a left hook, but Moncayo ties up his opponent.  Waerdelve leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Moncayo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Waerdelve is on target with a right hook to Moncayo's ribcage.  
Waerdelve gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Moncayo's body.  
Waerdelve digs in a sharp left hook to Moncayo's ribs.  Waerdelve attempts to land a left hook, but Moncayo parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Moncayo walks Waerdelve onto the ropes.  Waerdelve throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Waerdelve attempts to land a right hook, but Moncayo blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Waerdelve snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Moncayo advances into close range.  Moncayo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS WAERDELVE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Waerdelve recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Waerdelve's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Waerdelve attempts to land a cross, but Moncayo slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Moncayo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Waerdelve finds the target with a jab.  Waerdelve throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Moncayo closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Waerdelve blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Moncayo closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Moncayo holds on to his opponent.  Waerdelve is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Waerdelve almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Moncayo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Moncayo advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Waerdelve recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Moncayo lands a jab, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  
Moncayo closes the distance.  Waerdelve throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Moncayo clinches his opponent.  Moncayo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Moncayo pushes his forearm into Waerdelve's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Moncayo.  
Moncayo lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Moncayo steps inside.  Moncayo pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a mean left hook.  WAERDELVE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Waerdelve recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Waerdelve hits the target with a hard jab.  
Moncayo is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Moncayo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Moncayo gets on the inside and lands a sharp left hook.  
Moncayo lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Waerdelve pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Moncayo cuts off the ring, trapping Waerdelve in a corner.  Waerdelve throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Waerdelve is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Moncayo lands with a spiteful jab.  
Waerdelve drives a jab into Moncayo's body.  
Waerdelve throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Waerdelve's ribcage.  
Moncayo SLAMS a VICIOUS cross into his opponents face.  WAERDELVE IS HURT!  Waerdelve quickly recovers. 
Moncayo gets on the inside and lands a MASSIVE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE WAERDELVE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Waerdelve almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Moncayo is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING WAERDELVE TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Waerdelve quickly recovers.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Moncayo has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Moncayo is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Waerdelve digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Waerdelve tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Waerdelve drives a firm right hook into Moncayo's ribs.  
Moncayo manages to force Waerdelve into a neutral corner.  Moncayo is on target with a FIERCE right hook.  WAERDELVE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Moncayo ties up his opponent.  Moncayo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Moncayo and breaks the clinch.  
Moncayo sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Moncayo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS WAERDELVE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Waerdelve now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Moncayo pivots to the right of his opponent.  Waerdelve lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Moncayo connects with a solid right hook.  Moncayo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Waerdelve blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Waerdelve throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Moncayo clinches his opponent.  Moncayo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Moncayo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Waerdelve behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Moncayo about fouling.  
Moncayo is on target with a WICKED cross.  WAERDELVE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT WAERDELVE CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Moncayo!
