Ervin Albrup vs Paul Sharer

Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at WA Basketball Centre, Perth,  taking place on 28/11/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ervin Albrup (23(13) - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Paul Sharer(4 - 12 - 6) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Albrup and Sharer weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul MacNab, and the three ringside judges are Vincent Dykes, John Drummond and Haider Yassin.  

Round 1: 

Albrup advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Albrup holds on to his opponent.  Albrup is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Albrup to stop fouling.  
Albrup steps inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Albrup drives a left uppercut into Sharer's body.  
Albrup advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Albrup holds on to his opponent.  Albrup pushes his forearm into Sharer's face.  The referee warns Albrup and breaks the clinch.  
Albrup lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Albrup advances into close range.  Albrup digs in a left uppercut to Sharer's body.  Albrup clinches his opponent.  Albrup uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sharer behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Albrup.  Albrup wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sharer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Albrup closes the distance.  Sharer throws a right hook, but Albrup clinches his opponent.  Albrup is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Albrup's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sharer tries to keep the action at long range.  Albrup lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Albrup closes the distance and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Albrup forces Sharer to retreat into a corner.  Albrup lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Albrup gets on the inside.  Sharer throws a right hook, but Albrup holds on to his opponent.  Albrup leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sharer steps to the outside.  Albrup lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Albrup steps inside and walks Sharer down, trapping him on the ropes.  Albrup lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Albrup lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sharer tries to step out of his opponents range.  Albrup lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Albrup feints a left, and then connects with a stinging cross.  
Albrup steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Albrup clinches his opponent.  Albrup leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Albrup pushes his forearm into Sharer's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Albrup about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sharer's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Sharer's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Albrup digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  As Sharer tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Albrup dabs at his face checking for damage.
