Laureins Cloete vs Usi Ngcuka

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 22/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Laureins Cloete (22(1) - 4(4)) who hails from East London, South Africa and Usi Ngcuka(22(9) - 4(3) - 2) from Soweto, South Africa.  Cloete weighed in at 159 pounds and 7 ounces, while Ngcuka weighed in at 159 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kofi Kpesebaan, and the three ringside judges are John Masina, Ubanwa Koranteng and Charel Cilliers.  

Round 1: 

Ngcuka closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Ngcuka throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cloete dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Cloete.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ngcuka. Ngcuka lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS CLOETE TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Cloete cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ngcuka!
