Rashid Hameed vs Shaun Downie

Boxing Daily Report from the ALT Promotions promoted show at Brough Park Stadium, Newcastle,  taking place on 23/01/2038:

Clearly ALT Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Northern England Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rashid Hameed (21(5) - 1) who hails from Bury, UK and Shaun Downie(32(25) - 7(7) - 2) from Bury, UK.  Hameed weighed in at 147 pounds, while Downie weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Crumlish, and the three ringside judges are Jamie McNabb, Iain Clark and Rob Marceau.
