Edmondo Ceci vs Vicenzo Di Santo

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyan Promotions promoted show at Adolfo Secchia Gym, Catania,  taking place on 25/11/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmondo Ceci (18 - 17(1) - 5) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Vicenzo Di Santo(7 - 7 - 3) from Palermo, Italy.  Ceci weighed in at 199 pounds And 4 ounces, while Di Santo weighed in at 199 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cristiano Donadoni, and the three ringside judges are Arturo Bongiorno, Fabrizio Valdifiori and Mario Battaglia.

Ceci switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Di Santo steps inside.  Ceci pivots to the left of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ceci dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Ceci.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Ceci steps inside and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
