Santiago Murrillo vs Diego Napoles

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Urban Park, La Plata,  taking place on 02/01/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Santiago Murrillo (7(3) - 0) who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and Diego Napoles(11(1) - 8(1) - 4) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Both Murrillo and Napoles weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saturnin Berra, and the three ringside judges are Juan Bocanegra, Angel Pacifico and Santiago Cava.  

Round 1:

Murrillo is on target with a right hook to Napoles's ribs.  Murrillo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Murrillo pushes his forearm into Napoles's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Murrillo to stop fouling.  
Murrillo lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Murrillo holds on to his opponent.  Murrillo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Murrillo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Napoles throws a left uppercut, but Murrillo holds on to his opponent.  Murrillo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Napoles's kidney. Murrillo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Napoles behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Murrillo pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into Napoles's ribcage.  
Murrillo closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Murrillo lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a cross to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Napoles almost instantly recovers. 
Murrillo lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Murrillo gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Murrillo lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Napoles throws a left hook, but Murrillo ties up his opponent.  Murrillo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Murrillo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING NAPOLES DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Murrillo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Napoles's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Napoles's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
