Emilio Menendez vs Nasario Mier

Boxing Daily Report from the Kayo Promotions promoted show at Kayo Gym, Mexico City,  taking place on 09/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Emilio Menendez (1 - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Nasario Mier(12 - 10 - 7) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Menendez weighed in at 114 pounds and 12 ounces, while Mier weighed in at 114 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Santistevan, and the three ringside judges are Angel Salamanca, Alejandro Marmol and Alejandro Roxas.  

Round 1: 

Mier steps inside.  Menendez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Mier tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Menendez behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Menendez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
