Kei Hayashi vs Fumio Koda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Yokohama Koga, Yokohama,  taking place on 02/12/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Kanagawa Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kei Hayashi (17 - 14 - 6) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Fumio Koda(23 - 14 - 7) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Hayashi and Koda weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Morita, and the three ringside judges are Satoshi Miyasaki, Takeshi Furutani and Keiichi Hatanaka.  

Round 1: 

Koda is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Hayashi blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hayashi steps to the outside.  Koda hits home with an overhand left.  
Koda lands a right hook.  
Koda tries to step out of his opponents range and throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Koda pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Hayashi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Koda connects with a left hook.  
Hayashi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hayashi is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hayashi dabs at his face checking for damage.
