Barry David vs Gareth Briar

Boxing Daily Report from the Sarkodee Promotions promoted show at Minneapolis Bjur, Minneapolis,  taking place on 04/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Barry David (15 - 8(4) - 5) who hails from Chicago, USA and Gareth Briar(24(1) - 8(1) - 3) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both David and Briar weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charlie Genz, and the three ringside judges are Harry Streblow, Robert Westlund and Charlie Genz.  

Round 1: 

Briar steps inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Briar lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Briar pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Briar lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Briar connects with a left hook.  
Briar pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Briar manages to force David into the red corner.  Briar hits home with a right hook.  
Briar lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as David dabs at his face checking for damage.
