Greg Hoggarth vs James Samson

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Wisconsin Center Plankinton Hall, Milwaukee,  taking place on 27/11/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Greg Hoggarth (6(5) - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and James Samson(1 - 0 - 2) from Fort Wayne, USA.  Both Hoggarth and Samson weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Ansari, and the three ringside judges are Sean Picard, Richard Cavanagh and Bryan Huggett.  

Round 1: 

Hoggarth lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hoggarth connects with a cross.

Samson manages to force Hoggarth into a corner.  Hoggarth throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth closes the distance and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Hoggarth clinches his opponent.  Hoggarth is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hoggarth about fouling.  
Samson steps away from his opponent.  Hoggarth lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Hoggarth tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Samson behind the head. Hoggarth is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Hoggarth sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Hoggarth closes the distance and whips in a hurtful left hook to Samson's liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE SAMSON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Hoggarth tries to land a left hook, but Samson sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  Samson almost instantly recovers. 
Hoggarth lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hoggarth is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hoggarth pivots to the left of his opponent.  Samson throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Hoggarth clinches his opponent.  Hoggarth is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Hoggarth's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hoggarth is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hoggarth lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Hoggarth gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hoggarth lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hoggarth closes the distance and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.
