William Malcomson vs John Barnes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Florida promoted show at Tampa Kellow, Tampa,  taking place on 07/12/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are William Malcomson (21 - 11(3) - 2) who hails from Miramar, USA and John Barnes(36(3) - 10(1) - 2) from Orlando, USA.  Both Malcomson and Barnes weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Gillund, and the three ringside judges are Javier Resendiz, Davie Riquelme and Daniel Wright.  

Round 1: 

Malcomson is looking to close the distance.  Barnes digs in a right uppercut to Malcomson's ribs.  
Barnes gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Barnes is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malcomson dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Barnes.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
