Kian Ewing vs Alec Hanes

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at North Shore Glass, North Shore,  taking place on 10/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Ewing (19 - 15(2) - 2) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Alec Hanes(9 - 2(1) - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Ewing weighed in at 147 pounds and 13 ounces, while Hanes weighed in at 147 pounds.    As Ewing came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Billy Nesmith, and the three ringside judges are Declan Haturini, Brin Stackpole and Justin Patariki.
