Joaquin Abar vs Diego Soza

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Eva, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 13/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Abar (24 - 20(2) - 4) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Diego Soza(31(17) - 14(13)) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Abar and Soza weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Javier Renteria, and the three ringside judges are Urvano Corea, Diego Cendejas and Oleos Triano.  

Round 1: 

Soza gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  Soza holds on to his opponent.  Soza leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Soza pushes his forearm into Abar's face.  The ref breaks Soza's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Soza gets on the inside and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Soza lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Soza lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Soza pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Soza pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Soza lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Soza closes the distance and manouvers Abar onto the ropes.  Soza lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Soza sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Soza lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Soza clinches his opponent.  Soza pushes his forearm into Abar's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Soza about fouling.  
Soza lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Soza lands a stinging left uppercut.  Soza ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Soza pushes his forearm into Abar's face.  The ref breaks Soza's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Soza lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Abar is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Soza lands a spiteful jab.  
Soza steps inside.  Soza pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Soza is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Soza holds on to his opponent.  Soza is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Soza feints a cross, tricking Abar into throwing a right hook counter.  Soza springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Abar throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Abar's liver.  
Soza advances into close range and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Soza clinches his opponent.  Soza leans on his opponent using all his weight. Soza pushes his forearm into Abar's face.  The referee warns Soza and breaks the clinch.  
Abar tries to keep the action at long range.  Soza hits home with a cross.  
Soza is looking to close the distance and manouvers Abar onto the ropes.  Soza pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Soza finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Soza gets on the inside.  Soza pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Soza pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Abar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abar is on target with a cross.  Abar tries to land a jab, but Soza blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Soza lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head, AND DOWN GOES ABAR!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Soza is looking to force the stoppage!  Soza digs in a telling right uppercut to Abar's ribcage.  ABAR HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Abar has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Soza has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut in the corner of the right eye.  .

Soza lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Soza advances into close range.  Abar throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Soza time to recover.

Abar sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Soza lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Soza is looking to force the stoppage!  Soza is on target with a telling left uppercut to Abar's body.  DOWN GOES ABAR!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT ABAR IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Soza!
