There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Chapa (10(4) - 0) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Zenon Serpe(3 - 2(1)) from Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  Both Chapa and Serpe weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Corte, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Souto, Ulises Domingues and Vicente Sergio.  

Round 1: 

Chapa closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chapa lands a sharp right hook.  
Chapa forces Serpe to retreat into a neutral corner.  Chapa lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Chapa manouvers Serpe onto the ropes.  Chapa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chapa lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Chapa connects with a left uppercut.  Chapa clinches his opponent.  Chapa pushes his forearm into Serpe's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chapa to stop fouling.  
Chapa lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Chapa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Serpe throws a right hook, but Chapa clinches his opponent.  Chapa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chapa lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Serpe is on target with a right hook.  
Chapa connects with a right hook.  Chapa ties up his opponent.  Chapa throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chapa is on target with a sharp right hook to Serpe's body.  
Chapa digs in a left hook to Serpe's body.  
Chapa tries to land a cross, but Serpe sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Serpe's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Serpe's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Serpe's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Serpe tries to keep the action at long range.  Chapa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Serpe throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Serpe hits home with a cross.  Serpe tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Serpe switches the action to the outside and throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Chapa advances into close range and connects with a solid right hook.  
Chapa closes the distance.  Chapa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Serpe is looking to keep his distance.  Chapa feints a right hook, and then is on target with a sharp cross.  
Chapa steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Serpe pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Chapa lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Chapa drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Chapa lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Chapa is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Serpe attempts to land an overhand left, but Chapa sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Chapa is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Serpe quickly recovers.

Chapa lands a WICKED left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE SERPE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Chapa lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  It looks like Serpe has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Chapa lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Serpe steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a HUGE right hook.  SERPE IS HURT!  Serpe recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Chapa lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Chapa lands a solid right hook.  
Chapa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Serpe's ribcage.  
Chapa lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Serpe switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to Chapa's body.  
Chapa feints a jab, and then snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Chapa is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS SERPE TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Serpe cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Chapa!
