David Eck vs Wayne Poku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Bedwei, Kumasi,  taking place on 15/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Eck (22(7) - 13(6) - 1) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Wayne Poku(7 - 9(2)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Eck and Poku weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Amartey, and the three ringside judges are Tamarius Ankomah, Tamarius Ankomah and Uland Adade.  

Round 1: 

Eck lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Eck steps inside and connects with a stinging left hook.  Eck clinches his opponent.  Eck pushes his forearm into Poku's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Poku is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Eck feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Eck lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Eck sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Poku throws a left hook, but Eck ties up his opponent.  Eck pushes his forearm into Poku's face.  The referee warns Eck and breaks the clinch.  
Eck drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Eck tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Eck advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Eck holds on to his opponent.  Eck is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Eck lands a solid jab.  
Eck tries to land a jab, but Poku sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Poku throws a left uppercut, but Eck clinches his opponent.  Eck is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Eck connects with a firm right hook.  
Poku switches the action to the outside.  Eck hits the target with a spiteful jab.  Eck tries to land an overhand right, but Poku dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Eck's body.  
Eck closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Eck lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Poku steps to the outside.  Eck lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Eck lands a hard jab.  
Eck steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Eck lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Eck closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Eck is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Poku has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Eck lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Eck clinches his opponent.  Eck throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Eck throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Eck ties up his opponent.  Eck leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Eck's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Poku steps to the outside.  Eck is on target with a sharp jab.  
Eck advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.

Eck attempts to land a cross, but Poku dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to Eck's body.  
Eck lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Eck lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Eck connects with a left hook.  
Eck lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS POKU TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
The right shot from Eck could be enough to force the stoppage!  Eck lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING POKU DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Poku now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Eck lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.
