Selestino Placido vs Orlando Aro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Francisco Morazan promoted show at Jose Azcona Villa Olimpica, Tegucigalpa,  taking place on 16/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Selestino Placido (45(37) - 10(4) - 1) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Orlando Aro(22 - 18(2) - 3) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Placido and Aro weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Borgo, and the three ringside judges are Cuba Mendosa, Montenegro Sicilia and Fausto Landeros.  

Round 1: 

Placido is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a stinging jab.  
Placido is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Placido gets on the inside.  As Placido tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Aro has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Placido lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Aro throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Placido steps to the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.

Placido manages to force Aro onto the ropes.  Placido lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Placido lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Aro quickly recovers. 
Placido closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Placido tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Aro quickly recovers. 
Placido advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Placido holds on to his opponent.  Aro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Aro switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Placido gets on the inside and walks Aro down, trapping him in the corner.  Placido lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Placido drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Placido has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Aro finds the target with a jab.  
Placido is on target with a left hook to Aro's liver.  
Aro steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Aro throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty right uppercut.  ARO IS HURT!  Aro quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Aro's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Aro's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Aro steps away from his opponent.  Aro drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Placido lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Placido advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Placido clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Placido is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Placido steps inside and is on target with a firm left hook to Aro's body.  Placido holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Placido lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Aro steps to the outside.  Aro could be stopped here, if Placido can find the right shot!  Placido lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS ARO TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Placido!
