Leon Malley vs Evan Higgins

Boxing Daily Report from the Leprechaun Promotions promoted show at Leon Brogan Gym, Belfast,  taking place on 18/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern Ireland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Malley (2 - 4 - 4) who hails from Londonderry, UK and Evan Higgins(25 - 17(4)) from Bangor, UK.  Malley weighed in at 175 pounds, while Higgins weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Oisin Beirne, and the three ringside judges are Brett Lannon, Daniel Maguire and Paul Sheridan.  

Round 1: 

Higgins lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Malley closes the distance.  Higgins hits home with a solid left hook.
