Eric Owens vs William Mackie

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Edinburgh Davies, Edinburgh,  taking place on 17/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eric Rusty Owens (46(30) - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and William Mackie(19(3) - 10(3)) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Owens and Mackie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Anton Adam, and the three ringside judges are Angus Greenaway, Martin MacBeth and Peter MacLaughlin.  

Round 1: 

Mackie drives a right hook into Owens's body.

Mackie gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Owens on the ropes.  Owens is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Owens lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands a cross, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  Mackie now seems to have his senses back.  
Mackie feints a jab, and then attempts to land a cross, but Owens blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Owens strikes his opponents body with a solid cross.  
Owens tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mackie finds the target with a jab.  
Owens lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Owens's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mackie's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
