Kieran Cowper vs Alvino Borromeo

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Urban Park, La Plata,  taking place on 02/01/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kieran Cowper (10(7) - 1(1)) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Alvino Borromeo(7(5) - 3) from Rosario, Argentina.  Both Cowper and Borromeo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Pacifico, and the three ringside judges are Juan Bocanegra, Saturnin Berra and Santiago Cava.

Borromeo attempts to land a jab, but Cowper slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cowper is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a hard jab.  
Cowper hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Borromeo gets on the inside.  Cowper lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Borromeo is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Cowper ties up his opponent.  Cowper pushes his forearm into Borromeo's face.  The referee warns Cowper and breaks the clinch.  
Cowper tries to keep the action at long range.  Borromeo tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Cowper feints a right, and then hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Borromeo gets on the inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Cowper dodges the shot and counters with a potent right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE BORROMEO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Borromeo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Borromeo gets on the inside.  Cowper throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Cowper holds on to his opponent.  Cowper leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Cowper feints a jab, and then SLAMS a CRUSHING cross into his opponents face.  BORROMEO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cowper attempts to land a jab, but Borromeo dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  Borromeo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Borromeo steps inside.  Cowper drives a firm right hook into Borromeo's body.  BORROMEO IS HURT!  
Borromeo could be stopped here, if Cowper can find the right shot!  Cowper whips in a VICIOUS right hook to his opponents body.  BORROMEO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Cowper!
