Daiki Takeda vs Dau Hai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 02/01/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Daiki Takeda (16(13) - 6(4)) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Dau Hai(32 - 8(5)) from Hanoi, Vietnam.  Both Takeda and Hai weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Shishido, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Toyama, Hideki Ishibashi and Yuji Tsutsumi.  

Round 1: 

Takeda lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Takeda crashes a mean left uppercut to Hai's liver.  HAI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Takeda manouvers Hai into the corner.  Takeda drives a left uppercut into Hai's body.  Takeda attempts to land a left hook, but Hai blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Takeda pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to Hai's ribcage.  
Takeda drives a sharp right hook into Hai's body.  
Takeda connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Takeda digs in a right hook to Hai's ribcage.  
Takeda is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Takeda is on target with a stinging cross.  
Takeda advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Takeda lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Hai steps to the outside.  Takeda lands with a solid jab.  
Takeda attempts to land a cross, but Hai slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Takeda advances into close range.  Hai sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Takeda lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hai recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Takeda closes the distance.  Hai tries to land a right hook, but Takeda sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Takeda lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Takeda throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Takeda crashes a big left hook to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE HAI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Takeda knows Hai is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Takeda lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS HAI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Hai has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hai lands a stiff jab.  
Takeda closes the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to Hai's liver.  Takeda tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Hai is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.
