Hassan Rahim vs Zafa Mekky

Boxing Daily Report from the Yarjanyan Promotions promoted show at Alexandria Ghannam, Alexandria,  taking place on 23/12/2037:

Clearly Yarjanyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Egypt-Alexandria Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hassan Rahim (16 - 10 - 1) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Zafa Mekky(9 - 9 - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Rahim weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mekky weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amer Qazi, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Eldegheidy, Ahmed Zaghloul and Faisal Algahary.  

Round 1:

Rahim walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rahim sidesteps to the right of his opponent andRahim wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mekky dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mekky throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mekky is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rahim lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.
