Shamus Myres vs Ryszard Janicki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Poland-Lodz promoted show at MOSir Hall, Lodz,  taking place on 18/12/2037:

Clearly AI Poland-Lodz have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a tournament fight from Youth HW Gala.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Shamus Myres (48(39) - 5(5) - 1) who hails from Belfast, UK and Ryszard Janicki(7 - 0) from Lodz, Poland.  Myres weighed in at 244 pounds and 11 ounces, while Janicki weighed in at 257 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rajmund Franc, and the three ringside judges are Justyn Stachowski, Stanislaw Solarz and Krystian Wozniak.  

Round 1: 

Janicki hits home with a cross.

Myres throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Myres ties up his opponent.  Myres leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Myres pushes his forearm into Janicki's face.  The referee warns Myres and breaks the clinch.  
Myres throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Myres ties up his opponent.  Myres leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Janicki switches the action to the outside.  Janicki sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with an overhand left.  
Myres closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Myres ties up his opponent.  Janicki leans on his opponent using all his weight. Janicki is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Myres gets on the inside.  Janicki throws a right hook, but Myres ties up his opponent.  Myres is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Myres's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Myres gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Myres advances into close range and hits home with a stinging left hook.  Myres holds on to his opponent.  Myres leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Janicki attempts to land a left uppercut, but Myres slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Myres lands a cross to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  
Myres lands a left uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Janicki lands a firm left hook.  
Myres closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Myres clinches his opponent.  Myres leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Myres pushes his forearm into Janicki's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Myres lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Myres lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES JANICKI!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Myres attempts to land a right hook, but Janicki sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Myres's liver.  
Myres gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Janicki pivots from in front of his opponent.  Janicki tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Janicki lands with a solid jab.  Janicki tries to land a cross, but Myres slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Janicki is on target with a left hook to Myres's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Myres's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Janicki's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Janicki's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Janicki's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Myres lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND SENDS JANICKI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Janicki sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Janicki throws a left hook, but Myres clinches his opponent.  Myres leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Janicki lands a jab to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Myres gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Janicki recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Myres lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Janicki steps to the outside.  Myres senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Janicki and just needs the right shot.  Myres drives a telling right hook into Janicki's ribs.  JANICKI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Myres gets on the inside.  Myres lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING JANICKI DOWN!  The ref does not give Janicki the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Myres!
