Aoi Shimizu vs Jun Sakata

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan’s Boxing promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 26/12/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aoi Shimizu (13 - 10 - 5) who hails from Ichinomiya, Japan and Jun Sakata(4 - 8) from Ichinomiya, Japan.  Both Shimizu and Sakata weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Kawata, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Shiroma, Daiki Onishi and Raiden Okazaki.  

Round 1: 

Sakata walks Shimizu down, trapping him in a corner.  Shimizu tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
