Daichi Takai vs Isamu Okabe

Boxing Daily Report from the Lampi Promotions promoted show at Kei Kurokawa Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 28/12/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Takai (5 - 7 - 1) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Isamu Okabe(9 - 14 - 14) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Takai and Okabe weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Ige, and the three ringside judges are Yutaka Omura, Yutaka Omura and Satoshi Nishikawa.  

Round 1: 

Okabe is looking to keep his distance.  Okabe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Okabe steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Takai finds the target with a jab.  
Takai is looking to close the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takai dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Takai quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Takai throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Takai closes the distance.  Okabe throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Okabe's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Takai's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Takai's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
