Abdul Alam vs Juwon Mutallab

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Rivers State promoted show at Port Harcourt Akwashiki, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 29/12/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Rivers State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abdul Alam (4 - 11 - 4) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Juwon Mutallab(7 - 22 - 1) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Both Alam and Mutallab weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathaniel Ozolua, and the three ringside judges are Bature Isangedighe, Chima Yaji and Izunna Abulu.

Mutallab is looking to close the distance.  Alam attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Mutallab time to recover.  
Alam is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Alam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Alam connects with a right hook.  Alam throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mutallab gets on the inside and walks Alam down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Mutallab pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mutallab throws a left hook, but Alam ties up his opponent.  Mutallab is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mutallab and breaks the clinch.
