Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 30/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Onofre Danca (11(1) - 0) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Eloy Canal(9 - 12 - 3) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Danca weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces, while Canal weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oihane Mosso, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Lombardo, Franco Viveiros and Hernan Morgado.  

Round 1:

Canal tries to land a right hook, but Danca sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Canal advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Danca ties up his opponent.  Danca leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Danca's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Danca feints a cross, but Canal ignores the feint and is on target with a left uppercut.

Danca forces Canal to retreat into a neutral corner.  Danca drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.

Danca sidesteps to the left of his opponent and slams a spiteful right hook into Canal's body.  CANAL IS HURT!

He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND CANAL IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Danca pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES CANAL!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Canal has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
