Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at Kurumeza Theatre, Kurume,  taking place on 01/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Fukuoka Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Sugai (10(1) - 4(2)) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Mitsuru Kido(23(4) - 12(5) - 2) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Sugai weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces, while Kido weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nao Kuse, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Shimabukuro, Goro Koizumi and Akira Nishimura.
