Eduardo Alejos vs Angel Lucido

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Tierno, Asuncion,  taking place on 31/12/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Alejos (16(10) - 1(1)) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Angel Lucido(18 - 7(1)) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Alejos weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces, while Lucido weighed in at 112 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quiqui Claudio, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Galban, Zelipe Colmenares and Nemesio Vidales.  

Round 1:

Alejos forces Lucido to back into a neutral corner.  Alejos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Alejos digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Alejos ties up his opponent.  Alejos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Alejos hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Alejos to stop fouling.

Alejos manages to force Lucido onto the ropes.  Alejos lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Alejos ties up his opponent.  Lucido is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Alejos's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Alejos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Alejos closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Lucido's body.

Alejos steps inside and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Lucido tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Alejos steps inside.  Lucido throws a left hook, but Alejos clinches his opponent.  Alejos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Alejos gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lucido's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Lucido's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Alejos manouvers Lucido into a corner.  Alejos pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Alejos lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Alejos lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Alejos advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lucido switches the action to the outside.  Alejos contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Lucido throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lucido tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Alejos lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Lucido almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Alejos gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Alejos finds the target with a jab.  
Alejos steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lucido almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Alejos feints a right hook, and then hits home with a sharp cross.  
Alejos lands a ramrod jab.  
Alejos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Alejos steps to the outside and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.

Lucido steps away from his opponent.  Alejos senses Lucido is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Alejos connects with a BRUTAL right uppercut.  LUCIDO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Lucido has now recovered from that shot earlier.
