Wayne Watkins vs Ashley Trimble

Boxing Daily Report from the Keystone Boxing promoted show at Overland Park Daw, Overland Park,  taking place on 04/01/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wayne Watkins (10 - 2) who hails from Omaha, USA and Ashley Trimble(22(8) - 6(2)) from Wichita, USA.  Both Watkins and Trimble weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Polson, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Galloway, Floyd Blackley and Duncan Myres.  

Round 1: 

Watkins advances into close range and drives a right uppercut into Trimble's body.  Watkins tries to land a left hook, but Trimble sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Watkins lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Trimble finds the target with a jab.  
Watkins sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Trimble's body.  
Trimble pivots to the side of his opponent.  Watkins tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Trimble walks Watkins down, trapping him in a corner.  Trimble feints a cross, tricking Watkins into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Trimble is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Trimble pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Trimble throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Trimble lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Watkins attempts to land a cross, but Trimble sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Watkins gets on the inside.  Trimble sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Watkins lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Trimble lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Watkins sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Trimble.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
