Inigo Nicholson vs Justin Mortimer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Rockford Trent, Rockford,  taking place on 04/01/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Inigo Nicholson (38(20) - 8(3) - 1) who hails from Chicago, USA and Justin Mortimer(13 - 18(2) - 5) from Joliet, USA.  Nicholson weighed in at 130 pounds, while Mortimer weighed in at 129 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Morgan Keller, and the three ringside judges are Noel Hart, Sam Touch and John Oman.  

Round 1: 

Nicholson pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mortimer throws a left uppercut, but Nicholson clinches his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Nicholson lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Nicholson holds on to his opponent.  Nicholson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nicholson about fouling.  
Mortimer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicholson finds the target with a jab.  
Nicholson drives a jab into Mortimer's body.  
Nicholson advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Nicholson ties up his opponent.  Nicholson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mortimer feints a cross, and then tries to land a cross, but Nicholson slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Nicholson whips in a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  MORTIMER IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Nicholson advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Nicholson lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Nicholson holds on to his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent using all his weight. Nicholson pushes his forearm into Mortimer's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nicholson about fouling.  
Mortimer connects with a cross.  
Nicholson is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Nicholson throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Nicholson clinches his opponent.  Nicholson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nicholson closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Nicholson sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Nicholson slams a mean left uppercut into his opponents body.  MORTIMER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Mortimer now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Nicholson feints a left, and then lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mortimer manages to force Nicholson into a corner.  Nicholson lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nicholson connects with a firm cross.  
Nicholson closes the distance.  Nicholson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Nicholson lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mortimer's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Mortimer's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mortimer's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Nicholson digs in a potent right uppercut to his opponents body.  MORTIMER IS HURT!  
Mortimer could be stopped here, if Nicholson can find the right shot!  Nicholson lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING MORTIMER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Nicholson forces Mortimer to back into the corner.  Nicholson SLAMS a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  MORTIMER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Mortimer has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Nicholson feints a right hook, and then connects with a stinging cross.  
Nicholson is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND MORTIMER IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Mortimer can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Nicholson!
