Richie Briar vs Joshua Gorman

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New York State promoted show at New York City Ross, New York City,  taking place on 04/01/2038:

Clearly AI USA-New York State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Richie Briar (16 - 16(3) - 2) who hails from Buffalo, USA and Joshua Gorman(12 - 14 - 2) from Buffalo, USA.  Both Briar and Gorman weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Giancola, and the three ringside judges are Joel Domenici, Richard Sateriale and Harvey Busto.  

Round 1: 

Briar lands an overhand right.

Gorman is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Briar throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Gorman's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
