Louis Beavin vs Paul Picado

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso,  taking place on 06/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Louis Beavin (14(11) - 0) who hails from Little Rock, USA and Paul Picado(3 - 7 - 3) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Beavin and Picado weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Lewison, and the three ringside judges are Mark Evans, Harry Burwick and Elias Urrea.  

Round 1: 

Beavin tries to keep the action at long range and lands a spiteful jab.  
Picado steps inside.  Beavin pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a solid right hook.

Picado throws a right hook, but Beavin clinches his opponent.  Beavin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Beavin to stop fouling.  
Picado throws a left hook, but Beavin holds on to his opponent.  Beavin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Beavin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Picado closes the distance.  Beavin is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.

Picado advances into close range.  Beavin pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Picado forces Beavin to back into the ropes.  Beavin is looking to force the stoppage!  Beavin lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS PICADO DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.
