Gareth Pewitt vs Noel Kennison

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at New Haven Rust, New Haven,  taking place on 10/01/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Connecticut Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Pewitt (27 - 8 - 1) who hails from Bridgeport, USA and Noel Kennison(25(5) - 3) from Bridgeport, USA.  Pewitt weighed in at 168 pounds, while Kennison weighed in at 168 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Kennison came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Hayden Blacketer, and the three ringside judges are Phil Stephen, Peter Snape and Phil Stephen.

Kennison digs in a left hook to Pewitt's body.  As Kennison tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pewitt dabs at his face checking for damage.
