Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Casino Miami Jai Alai, Miami,  taking place on 15/01/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonel Pablo (16(10) - 2) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Chris Baines(7 - 22 - 3) from Dallas, USA.  Both Pablo and Baines weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Ghant, and the three ringside judges are Paul Corse, Blake Hyslop and Xaverius Vea.  

Round 1: 

Pablo steps inside and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Pablo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pablo pushes his forearm into Baines's face.  The referee warns Pablo and breaks the clinch.  
Pablo crashes a nasty right hook to Baines's body.  BAINES IS HURT!  Baines recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pablo digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Pablo holds on to his opponent.  Pablo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pablo lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Pablo clinches his opponent.  Baines leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Pablo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Baines behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pablo to stop fouling.  
Pablo digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pablo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Baines throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Pablo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Pablo holds on to his opponent.  Pablo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Baines tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pablo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pablo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pablo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Baines's ribs.  
Pablo is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Pablo lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Baines throws a left hook, but Pablo clinches his opponent.  Pablo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pablo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pablo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Pablo holds on to his opponent.  Pablo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pablo lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Pablo lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Pablo holds on to his opponent.  Pablo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Pablo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Baines now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Pablo steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pablo walks Baines onto the ropes.  Pablo drives a right hook into Baines's body.  
Pablo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pablo connects with a solid right hook.

Pablo steps inside.  Pablo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Baines throws a right hook, but Pablo holds on to his opponent.  Pablo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pablo to stop holding.  
Pablo digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  BAINES IS HURT!  Baines recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Pablo is on target with a weighty left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAINES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Pablo could be enough to finish Baines!  Pablo lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES BAINES!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Pablo lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, KNOCKING BAINES DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Pablo lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS BAINES!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.
