Jack Pevey vs Charles Connolly

Boxing Daily Report from the The Art of War promoted show at ExCel Arena, London,  taking place on 20/01/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Pevey (30(23) - 2(1)) who hails from Coventry, UK and Charles Connolly(33(2) - 18(7) - 2) from Swords, Ireland.  Pevey weighed in at 126 pounds, while Connolly weighed in at 125 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Hill, and the three ringside judges are Darryl Gibson, Henry Law and Michael Connelly.  

Round 1:

Pevey forces Connolly to retreat into the corner.  Connolly tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Pevey sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Connolly is on target with a right hook to Pevey's body.

Pevey cuts off the ring, trapping Connolly in the corner.  Connolly lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Connolly could be stopped here, if Pevey can find the right shot!  Pevey lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Connolly switches the action to the outside.  Pevey lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING CONNOLLY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Connolly now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Pevey gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pevey throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  Connolly recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Pevey walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pevey lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Pevey gets on the inside and crashes a mean left uppercut to his opponents body.  CONNOLLY IS HURT!  Connolly quickly recovers. 
Connolly is looking to keep his distance.  Pevey contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Connolly lands with a ramrod jab.
