Kendis Quaye vs Paul Cuervo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oklahoma promoted show at Tulsa Mulryan, Tulsa,  taking place on 13/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kendis Quaye (18(14) - 0) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Paul Cuervo(0 - 3 - 1) from El Paso, USA.  Quaye weighed in at 154 pounds, while Cuervo weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kenzie McCleese, and the three ringside judges are Michael Brownlee, Hamish McCallum and Roger Newburn.  

Round 1: 

Quaye advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Quaye pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Quaye gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Quaye pushes his forearm into Cuervo's face.  The referee warns Quaye and breaks the clinch.  
Quaye lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Quaye throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Quaye is looking to close the distance and digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Quaye gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  Quaye is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Quaye closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Cuervo's body.  
Quaye advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Cuervo on the ropes.  Quaye is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Quaye is on target with a sharp left hook to Cuervo's body.  
Quaye is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Quaye is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Quaye lands a solid left hook.  
Quaye pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Quaye manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Quaye lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Quaye hits home with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cuervo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cuervo's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Cuervo's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Quaye is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Quaye holds on to his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Quaye is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Quaye tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Quaye lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  As Quaye tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cuervo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Quaye advances into close range and is on target with a sharp right hook.  Quaye ties up his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Quaye gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Quaye lands a ramrod jab.  
Quaye cuts off the ring, trapping Cuervo on the ropes.  Quaye lands a stiff jab.  
Cuervo steps to the outside.  Quaye is on target with an overhand left.  
Quaye is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND KNOCKS CUERVO DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Cuervo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Quaye gets on the inside.  Quaye sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Quaye digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Quaye clinches his opponent.  Quaye leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Quaye's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Quaye lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Quaye is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Quaye lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Cuervo now seems to have his senses back.  
Quaye lands with a spiteful jab.  
Cuervo switches the action to the outside.  Quaye lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Quaye steps inside and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Quaye lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND CUERVO IS DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Quaye!
