Vegas Lobo vs Rico Pando

Boxing Daily Report from the Kingson Promotions promoted show at Asuncion Requena, Asuncion,  taking place on 15/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vegas Lobo (13 - 0) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Rico Pando(17 - 8(2) - 2) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Lobo and Pando weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Rolando, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Rita, Ivan Coca and Agapetus Rodriguez.  

Round 1: 

Pando steps away from his opponent.  Lobo connects with an overhand right.  
Lobo steps inside and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lobo closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Lobo advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Lobo walks Pando down, trapping him in a corner.  Lobo drives a left hook into Pando's ribs.

Lobo steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Lobo connects with a right hook.

Lobo steps inside.  Lobo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lobo walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Lobo is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Pando tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lobo lands a spiteful jab.  
Lobo advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Lobo advances into close range.  Pando throws a left hook, but Lobo holds on to his opponent.  Lobo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Lobo and breaks the clinch.  
Lobo advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Lobo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lobo steps inside.  Lobo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Pando attempts to land a right hook, but Lobo slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lobo connects with a left hook.  Lobo holds on to his opponent.  Lobo leans on his opponent using all his weight. Lobo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Lobo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lobo cuts off the ring, trapping Pando in the blue corner.  Lobo drives a left uppercut into Pando's body.  
Lobo snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pando's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
