Sam Jones vs John Covington

Boxing Daily Report from the CP Boxing promoted show at Georgetown Drennan, Georgetown,  taking place on 14/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guyana Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Jones (14 - 6) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and John Covington(20(1) - 8(1) - 2) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Jones weighed in at 244 pounds And 5 ounces, while Covington weighed in at 239 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Seller, and the three ringside judges are John Paton, Robert Blackstock and Ewan Morton.
