Dakarai Gichere vs Matt Mathenge

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Uhuru Basketball Court, Nairobi,  taking place on 16/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dakarai Gichere (26(1) - 14(10)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Matt Mathenge(24(8) - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Gichere and Mathenge weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oja Leresae, and the three ringside judges are Joe Mwirichia, Salim Kosgei and Stuart Lone.
